The Nexter Robotics Nerva LG robot is being used during the COP21 conference lasting from November 30th til December 11th for threat detection under vehicles. IMS micro-sized radiation sensors are embedded on the Nerva LG robot, the SGP probe providing the ambient Gamma-ray dose rate and the MGS Gamma-ray spectrometer performing radio-elements highly performant identification online and in motion to perform doubt raising thus a robust risk characterization for perfectly targeted interventions.
In partnership with the French CEA (Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives), IMS has developed highly innovative products for the monitoring, detection, localization and identification of radioactive materials in industrial and outdoor environments.
In March 2015, IMS has won the Innovative Enterprise Prize of Val-de-Marne. The prize was a video produced by “L’Agence du Val de Marne” and “La Maison du Bonheur”. Check it out!
